And facts aren't pleasant. Of course not a very high piece of art but yes it's honest movie making. The songs are an integral part of the movie itself. Heavy and tough to watch because it causes that unusual pain inside. Comparing with Uyare here is irrelevant because Uyare is about how a toxic relationship ended in an acid attack. Of course a story line that has a personal story and the way heroine is glorified was achieved bevause it is fiction. And yes lot of people could connect with Govind and Pallavi Because majority have been through toxic people and have seen what it could result at. Uyaare being fiction there is freedom to build a story line around. Chhapaak being reality Too much built-up, character glorification or additional plots could spoil the movie. It's not an entertainer but it is a must watch because the message it's portraying is priceless. This Is a movie that has got substance and social commitment. It's sad to see all those Arjun Reddy haters out there aren't watching, commenting or discussing about this movie that has valued social responsibility over commercial movie making. Definitely a good effort. More of such realitic movies must come.
